In this ten day exploration into discovering dialogue, inspired by the teachings of Jiddu Krishnamurti, we will explore the workings of the mind. We will look at how our beliefs, opinions, thoughts and conclusions limit, distort and fragment perception, dividing us from one another and destroying relationship.

In this SOW Session we hope to get deeper into Meditation
Both the theoretical background, based on the Buddha's original Teachings (Dhamma) and by practical Guided Meditations on a daily basis.
Daily there will be plenty of time for Dharma discussion as well.
Meditation in the Light of Theosophy
Although meditation covers a wide range of methods, in the essentials they aim at one direction: to master the mind, at first. Understanding and practicing meditation would further lead to modify one’s own paradigm, and thus to transform one’s way of living. Through awareness, one can heal oneself and the world. This would lead to the thorough assimilation of the entire process of meditation, and particularly of HBP Meditation Diagram.
Living Theosophy in 21st Century
We are living at a time where the evolution of our human civilizations is accelerating. Values, ethics & community's life models are changing rapidly. Science and Technologies are reshaping the landscape of our human development. Ancient Wisdom teachings are more than ever a robust guide on an ever-moving path. The Meditative Brain, a Challenge to the Digital Revolution
"The Meditating Brain, a Challenge of the Digital Revolution" is a seminar about our nervous system, how our brain processes information and creates our reality. Using a reductionist approach we will study the neurons; the sense organs; the brain, it's structures and the different areas of the cortex; consciousness and self - awareness; memory; meta cognition; the development of the nervous system of animals and the Homo Sapiens brain. How our brain processes the information in digital and analog modes.
Self-Transformation and the Spiritual Life
Recommended for theosophists to have practical tools for application in one's life and for the work in Lodges and Sections.
Concept and Reality
The first 5 days the accent will be on the texts that have been recommended below. Based on the third book and on my own experience, we will practise meditation daily and after the 10th December we can shift the accent from the intellectual to the experiential.
Daily there will be plenty of time for Dharma discussion as well.
The Spiritual Path of the Theosophical Movement
We will look at the Objects and Aims of the Society, the Path as outlined in the Maha-Chohan’s Letter, and again in The Key to Theosophy. We will look at the topic as presented by the Mahatmas in their Letters, as well as by HPB in her correspondence. We will discuss the topic as presented by Annie Besant, C. Jinarajadasa and N. Sri Ram.
Students are encouraged to find their own answers through study and contemplation.
