Seven Games of Life
A Workshop with Richard Smoley

Life can be seen as a set of basic games that everyone has to play:

• Survival

• Love

• Power

• Creativity

• Pleasure

• Courage

Like it or not, everyone plays these games from birth to death. In addition, there is a seventh, which we can call the Master Game, which has to do with transcending the mundane games of life. It is the spiritual path, or the path of personal evolution.

In this workshop, Richard Smoley will explore the six basic games of life (including the rules by which we play, usually without realizing it) and how to play them better for the benefit of ourselves and others.

Richard will also discuss the Master Game and show how the Theosophical path fits into it and where it may lead. Special attention will be paid to forgiveness and its relation to the law of karma.

The course will include lectures, meditation, experiential exercises, and group discussions.
