INTRODUCTION

Swedish artists Christine Ödlund and Fredrik Söderberg will lead a workshop focused on watercolor painting. By tracing the history of synesthesia, clairvoyance, and the alchemical principles of color, we will explore the mystical aspects of the surrounding flora and fauna. Through practical experimentation, we will translate our sensory perceptions into watercolor. Our exploration will be guided by listening to nature, particularly to the influential energies of The Great Banyan Tree located at the TS Adyar campus. The results will manifest in artistic experimentation.
